Serial Number Help...

I just got my first Mosrite, a Mark I. I need some help dating it. I think it's from around 1970... no Ventures logo, Moseley vibrato, SC pups, etc. The serial number is V5760. Is there a serial number database anywhere that I'm missing? Tym's site is not very helpful to me. I checked the pots, but the codes are covered in solder, and I don't feel like desoldering the electronics just to read the codes. Any help would be appreciated.

Btw, it's a pretty bad a$$ guitar. I've been wanting one for years and it's everything I thought it would be. :D ;)

jgs61,
1) What size are the fret markers? Are they about the same size as ones found on a Fender or Gibson, or are they 'super small' in size?
2) Does your guitar have Kluson Tuners?
3) Does your guitar have the 'speed frets' (very small thin size) or do they look and feel more like a Fender?

1. Super small fret markers
2. Kluson Deluxes
3. It's been refretted with Fender style frets, but I was told that it originally had the speed frets

I'll take a picture of it shortly. Thanks!

Going out on a limb here  .......post '67, late 60s. Also, you are going to need a setup on your guitar
unless you can do it yourself. The way the saddles are positioned, I can guaran-damn-tee-ya you are gonna
go out of tune when you go up on the Neck even though your open strings are registering 440 pitch, or
even the 'harmonic tuning' (either 5th to 7th frets, or just on the 12th fret......

Yeah, I kind of figured that too. I'm not sure how most Mosrite saddles look, but I know that can't be right. I'll set it up properly this weekend and throw some 11's on there. Also, I like the vibrato, but it's a little too loose for me. Any ideas on how to tighten it up a bit? I saw another thread where someone put a stiffer spring in there. Where would I find something like that? Should I look on ebay for a Bigsby spring?

Is this the guitar that was at Gruhn with the three-bolt neck?

Kevin Zamm (Zamminc) sells your springs - often on eBay - 3 for $25 or $10 each .. varying tensions

I would probably check with a few of our cherished members here on the Forum.
Right off the bat, Hallmark, Front Porch Music, TerryTNM, EFElliott, and somebody
help me if I left someone off the list  .
