Well actually, that would be a late 80s to an early 90s Model. That particular model, Johnny used a Pearl White as well as C.J. Ramone in a Vid called "I Don't Want to Grow Up."

Re: Anybody seen these?
I used to own one of these (which I ended up selling to Tim of Tym Guitars because he just had to have it). He has put up a page dedicated to my former guitar here:
http://www.tymguitars.com.au/mymosrites ... _model.htm
On Tym's site it says it's from the '80s, but it came complete with hang tag signed by Loretta which I would think makes it an example from the early '90s. The case was also beautiful (and huge and heavy) - faux 'gator with the Mosrite logo and "Built In Soul" as well as Semie's name all printed in gold. The guitar was super light, constructed of a sandwich of thin laminated plies with the center ones hollowed out (no doubt to save money on both materials and construction). The hollowed out "tone chamber" also means no wasted time on fancy routing.

Adam,
My Wife and I were at J.Ridge in '88 to S.O. my 'OWN' Mosrite. We saw a guitar like your proto, only difference was it was Pearl White w/black P'guard and Black Pickups. It too, had a neck Pickup, but the final model was a single angled Bridge Pickup. Johnny always favored the Bridge P'up (so did Nokie!) for his sound through his Marshalls. I don't know if Semie's Ramones version ever made it as a regular model or not. I have heard that it did make it in the '92-'93 Brochure Catalog.
BTW, when I finally received my '88 Mosrite, it too was signed by Loretta on the inspection hangtag.
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.
