Nice photos! The first photos show a much more battle-scarred example, although the finish seems to be the primary victim. I've been trying to learn about the qualities of various woods, but websites don't seem to care about "working the wood". Good to know about this property of Wenge...thanks!

Well that's purdy nice but chocolate Mosrites actually look like this one that has been in my fridge for the last 12 years:

Aged chocolate indeed. The attention to detail on this choco Mosrite is what spared it from being munched all these years.

The brass rail Mosrite info and pictures are fantastic I was not at all aware of a mid-70's Mosrite ressurgence.

Hello Mosrite Brass Rail fans,
I was wondering if any forum members might own a1978 wenge wood Brass Rail, I'm in need of some good photos of the front and back, I'm wanting to build some reproductions of these guitar. Some of you may know I had a hand in building these guitars some 43 years ago.
Thanks! Ed Elliott.

Though I don't own one, perhaps Adam has some more photos of this one. I think he's more active on Facebook than he is here, but you probably asked him there already. I haven't signed in to Facebook for a while.
