Hi, I don't have much to add but thanks for posting photos of your guitar.

I agree and it sounds like a very good thing to make, If a person is going to craft a folded-type vibrato for a Ventures II Slab Body model why not also make a base plate similar to this modified one, If going for functionality?

Back in my day most local bands and fans in Boston hated GG and the Jabbers. After all, we were based in Manchester, NH
I know Barb Kitson (RIP) of Thrills liked us and even showed up at one of our shows at the A7 club in NYC when she was living there.
Because Merle played in Thrills Barb knew GG and Alan Chapple pretty well.

Off the top of my head, I know Matt Burns and Chris Brokaw who played with him. I also know Johnny Angel from the Thrills.

Awesome guitar. That cut and bent "tail piece" gives the guitar some serious character. . . I'd leave it as is.

Anyway, welcome aboard. Another VII accounted for!

NIce guitar, nice story, it's just a shame you weren't the first guitarist in the Jabbers. Just another one of 'ol Kev's hammers.

I never meet any of the Fools. Maybe GG or Alan did at some point.

I was one of the last Jabbers guitar players.
'Ol Kev then started the Scumfucs and then started getting into metal and came out with that Live Fast Die Fast crap.
