I wonder if it's in that early 70s period when Moseley had lost rights to the Mosrite name but was still making guitars. It would be the right time for the Blues Bender too. Most were under the Gospel label AFAIK but there were other iterations like this one on eBay.

I don't know how many threads are in this forum related to the "Square M" logo, but I'd thought I'd add a little of my opinion on it. I believe, as the story goes, that when Mosrite first closed doors Semie went on a gospel tour singing across the nation, etc. I have seen the Square M logo pop up from time to time and I think this was the logo that Semie used during this interim period of time.

Another example is in the photos below from a Gospel album that Semie recorded. You will see that logo on the A and B side of the record. Also note in the bottom left corner of the back side of the album cover itself. You will see the Gospel "cross" seen on many Gospel headstocks and you will see the Square M logo with the words "moseley RECORDS". I wish I knew the date of that album. My guess would be between 1969 and 1972.

Long time bump, but I've been studying these guitars. This Red "Moseley" example would seem to be a later model; even though it doesn't seem to have a serial number (which would be at the high end of the neck, by the neck pickup) Blues Benders didn't have that big M Pad on the back until near the end of the run. I've also seen a few of "Moseley by Semie Moseley" instruments around, but infrequently.
