Postby KRamone27 » Sun Nov 23, 2008 9:59 am

I'm not sure if I have posted this link before but it's got some nice shots of Semie and his shop.

Kevin!! I'm not sure if you posted this here or on another Forum, but I remember responding
to someone (was that you?) that was up there in J.R.,N.C. back in '88. I remember we were
laughing about it, because we had only missed meeting each other by a few months. We were
up there in FEB-March of '88 placing my S.O. on my '88 Custom. BTW Kev, the Lady in PIC #5
with Semie, was that Linda, who was the Secretary at the J.R. Factory??
Well, it's good to know that another member here got to see the J.R. Factory  .
Kevin, also did you get a chance to see the Mosrite Clock on the wall? It was actually in their
Living Room in front of the Factory...wish I would of taken a PIC of that

Has anyone on this forum ever seen one of those Double Axes in person? That is one guitar I've been trying to track down for ages. I know Semie used to take two (maybe the only two?) around to guitar shows in the late '80s; somehow I doubt anyone ever placed an order though... I'm pretty sure the one in the link Kevin posted is champagne pink, not sure what color the other one is (I've only seen black and white pics).

I've never been there nor seen the place in person so I don't know anything about the location. Actually, I think I posted this in the Mazzrite forum. I just found these photos to be very interesting. Kevin
