Incoming Mark V

Postby Gonkulator » Wed Sep 15, 2021 5:51 am

Just struck a deal on this Mark V out of Texas.

Serial appears to be B1265, won't be certain until it lands.

Ah yes, it was on Reverb and I linked it on Facebook. It looks good. Please tell if the neck's on straight; mine (B670) was off kilter, towards the Low E side. I had to wedge some thin aluminum between the neck and body, on mine.

It's been 9 days. Has it shipped yet? I saw the previous owner made a video with it.

I thought I had posted a reply but just saved it as a draft instead.

Guitar did arrive in great condition, even though the packing was extremely poor.

Life has been busy so I haven't been able to give it a proper setup and take pictures but I will once I have a moment! I forgot how small these necks are but I love it.

Oh.

Glad hearing it.

No problem. What strings will you be putting on it? Gauge and kind? I have D'addario Nickel Wound .13s on my 66, but I know Pure Nickels are available, if you want something more mellow that's not a flatwound.
