Here's some photos of my Excellent '65 Ventures model reissue (Mosrite Japan), it's approximately 8 years old.

The pics are pretty huge, so I'm posting the thumbnails, click on 'em to see the full-size version.

Oh yeah, one more thing: I found this photo of a "Ranger" bridge on a Japanese website:

That doesn't look like a very good saddle design to me...

Yeah, Zak, that "poor saddle design" was meant for the "Non-Tremelo" Mosrites with the exception of the Mark Vs, but at the same time, I have heard that you could get the "upgrade roller bearing saddles" as an option for the Mark Vs. And I HAVE SEEN (USA made) Mark Vs with the upgrade on them over the years. The MAJORITY of the NON roller saddles were usually found on the Celebrity IIIs.

Here is some more photo's of the Fillmore Mark I Ranger from their website. Click on the photo for enlargements, then click on it again for an even larger image. These all have the non roller bridges, but yet the Fillmore catalog I got shows them with the roller bridge as well as the specification description lists them as roller bridges.

OK, I don't remember who posted that the '65s had the roller bridge and the 66s did not, but from what I saw in those pix, neither the 65s nor the 66s had the roller bridge unit......

I posted that referring to what is printed in the Fillmore Mosrite catalog I have. Well, actually, I just said that they all have roller bridges. The catalog does not show or list any fixed bridges at all.

Those Rangers looks very interesting! I'll second the suggestion for more pics .

And that Excellent looks really really close to the real deal. I wonder how many where made and during which years? Who owned the company/production?

Here's a few i snapped.
Although its hard to tell from the photos my 65 deluxe has a roller bridge.
I presume all Fillmore Mosrites are made in Japan, even the "Made in USA" models costing $5000 or $6000 !?

Goldentrem, I can see the rollers fine, however, what's that little
Silver Box you got on the floor that says FUZZxxxx or ????

Wow Dennis you've got good eyesight!
Its one of these.
The Bonebender is a Vox Tonebender clone, good
Fuzzbrite is a .... clone, great
Fuzz FZ7 is a 3 tone box from Biyang, great sounds and cheap.



Here's one i mentioned on another thread, a cute mini- fuzz from Fillmore.
I've yet to hear it but i want one.

Yeah, I saw Goldentrem's post, but no one responded. Before we get all excited, take a GOOD LOOK at the unit.
.................There's NO GAIN CONTROL!! Which sucks! All you have is a Level control, but no way to adjust
how much Gain you might want to use.......
