I was thinking of all the instrumentals from the 60's that were named after satellites & other space equipment. There's quite a lot of them, the success of "Telstar" being the main inspiration I suppose.
Ranger program was an unmanned US space program back in '61-'65. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ranger_program ) Does anyone know: is the Mosrite Ranger named after this? It would be sort of cool. The music style and the time period fit.

I don't believe the Ranger was around at that time. It is a more recent addition to the Mosrite line, possibly when Japanese Mos began.

Yes, I know it's a recent model. But they still could give them a retro name & respect the time period when the model first came out... does anyone have information about this?
