There is no other description other than "work of art" for these guitars. I have only been building for the last couple of years, and can see that I have a lifetime of learning to do...trouble is, I'm already on the downhill run! :o

I sincerely thank everyone for their kind words. It's a hackneyed old phrase, but a "Labor of Love" probably describes my efforts best. I'm so fortunate to be retired and get to make guitars all day.

I've finished a new guitar, I'm calling the M-5, a couple of weeks ago and haven't taken the official "portrait" yet. Again, this model strays from my original rockabilly, country motif so I'm not sure how much interest there might be in it. (I think I made just for me) My own playing interests have changed over the years and revisited from time to time. The clean, lightning fast guitar riffs of Joe Maphis and Jimmy Bryant caught my attention first, then Chet Atkins and a few others. Lately, I've admired Tommy Emannuel, Richard Smith, Scotty Anderson and the amazing talents of Joe Robinson. I think the M-5 reflects my interest in that type of playing. A little wider neck; 1 3/4 at nut, Benedetto jazz pickup and a natural finished body that is a 14" wide outline of a Gibson L-5

I'll be making a new page for this model on my site in a few days.

Thank you all for your comments.

Terry

Wow!! Those are some beyond beautiful guitars, Terry. I had no idea we had such a luthier on this list. I'm even more thrilled to find you're in my stompin' ground (I'm in Northridge). I'm guessing you have a goodly backlog on your bench but I'm wonderin' how a guy like me might get a first hand experience of your instruments. I do recognize Buddy's guitar from the Deke Geek Fest. Did you had guitars on display there?
