

The serial number (located on the 22nd fret) is 3966. Can anyone tell me more about it? Like the approximate year it was made, etc. Thank you!

Your guitar would be considered a "modern Mosrite". Currently, the Fillmore company owns the Mosrite name in Japan and so the guitars they build are legally Mosrites, but in the general vernacular, any high quality Japanese guitar with the Mosrite logo is considered a "real" modern Mosrite.
