My Mosrite/Partsrite ventures II model - slab body

Postby motiersbad » Mon Jun 24, 2013 10:55 am

Hey Ho,

here's my new chick :) body, nitro-lacquer, pickguard and assembly was made by maxkat! The smooth cover pickups are made by Bob Shade and the other parts are genuine Mosrite Parts (thank you Bob and eBay:) )

The slab looks and plays great! i play stratocaster's and les Paul's in my band, too - but these angry chicken destroys all ... i love it :) i don't know how a slab plays and sounds in real, but if it like these baby ..... it would be perfect :)

Here some pictures (click on it for big size)! the red looks in real fantastic!!!

That's a neat job, Phil and co. How 'hot' are the pups?

Looks like a fun color. Is that an original neck or a reproduction? And although it might be the cheapest type of guitar Mosrite ever made, It still has that distinct Mosrite look (Minus the carve)
