Recently picked up this neat bass. After getting together with Tim down at Tym's Guitars it looks like at one point Semie pulled the neck off of a short(er) scale Celebrity bass and put it on a Mk V body. Has two serials stamped on the fretboard, top one was for when it was on a Celebrity and the bottom for the Mk V.
Celebrity Serial No. Z0381
Mk V Serial No. BB003
Opened her up and everything is original and untouched. Strings are flatwound and a bit bigger than my liking but that'll change soon.

This one does at least. Not sure if I'm going to use lighter strings and tune it more like a tenor or not.
