This has serious implications for not just forums, but businesses that use the service. For example Real Estate offices that use them to show homes on line. Basically they are out of business, UNLESS they cough up $399.00. THAT IS EXTORTION.
Like I mentioned I serious doubt they can charge retroactively for services that were FREE. They can start a new format, and charge people to join Photobucket, but to bait and switch like this is just not right, and in my mind not legal.

Re: Photos have disappeared
This is a test photo from my old photo album on Photobucket and it seems to work on my computer. Don't know how long it will stay up though. Still can't over ride the block on the other photos. Can you guy's see it?

I agree, something needs to be done about photobucket. Any ideas? I agree, this is the biggest scam.

I hope to hear back from SEC.
Does anyone have an attorney we could ask some questions about the situation. I'm sure there are several groups and individuals pursuing this. A lot is at stake here.

Once a letter is constructed, I would be willing to send one to my local congressman. We should all. Anyone care to take on writing the letter?

Photobucket seems to be very arbitrary about what pics they decide to kill.
