New 2019 Wilson Bros guitars

Postby dubtrub » Thu Jan 24, 2019 6:59 pm

Look closely at the guitar Mel is holding and the white guitar. Look familiar? Looks like Wilson Bros. is coming out with a Mosrite Ventures clone for 2019.

?? ? They’ve changed the bridge and tailpiece to closer approximate the Mosrites? And it’s a side jack?

Didn't these get introduced last year? Made by the M3 people or something like that? Really expensive?

Mel is at the NAMM show and posted this on facebook a couple of hours ago. This is apparently all new. Hopefully Mel will bring everyone up to date.

If the price point is good, they may do well. Fingers crossed for them.

Looks like it was 2 years ago they had the USA built ones. Those were $5000. The ones in the pictures above have the 2 piece trem like ones sold on ebay. That says to be these might be import versions vs USA made. If so the price might be reasonable. The white one looks nice.

Pricey! Anything much more than 1k and you have to revert to the comparison to a Hallmark. Still the best bang for the bucks, imho.

Yeah I don't think that site has been updated in years.
