Hallmark 59 Custom model

Postby Bob Shade » Wed Aug 12, 2009 12:53 pm

Hello Bakersfriends!

Bob Shade here, just wanted to say hello and show the latest from Hallmark. This guitar was the work of Semie Moseley and Joe Hall back in the late 50's and early 60's. We feel it is appropreate to offer a guitar that is historicly correct and features the original parts that are no longer used in todays modern world of guitar building. These features include a sandcast tailpiece that is made the old fashioned way with a lot of hand work with a real flip mute. The headstock features a fretwire string guide and original deco paint design and more. Thanks to all of you members who have purchased one of our guitars and have posted some fantastic reviews!

Best reverbs, Bob Shade/ Hallmark Guitars

For comparison, here's the original version. Looks pretty darn similar don't it? Notice this guitar has both top mount and sidejack mounted input jacks.

Excellent pictures Danny! Nice, we can now make immediate comparisons.

Would this be the model Nokie Edwards first played on in '61/'62 that eventually led to the Ventures' endorsement?
