New, Old Mosrite User

I owned several Mosrite BG-1000 amps, way back in the early 70s. They were my 1st "big" amps. Quite affordable at the time, for the size. I haven't seen one in quite awhile, though.

Yeah, the BG amp are far and few between anymore. Apparently they were problematic. What was your experience with them?

Welcome JM. It's not very common to hear someone say "having owned several Mosrite BG-1000 amps" :o :shock:
Yeah, we're curious about them, as you may know or have read here, the story about Mosrite amp production and sales is somewhat contoversial.

Welcome to the forum, great to have you. I own a BG500 and Love it :!: The only thing not working on it is the Reverb :!: The exact thing Nokie Edwards quotes as having problems :!: I use a Fender Reverb Unit anyway. The thing sounds great for a Solid State Amp but man it's as big as a refrigerator :!: :lol:
