Oh yeah and just so you all know im not really too interested in the Fillmore Mosrite 'deluxe' or Johnny Ramone models. just the standard MKII's with 2 singlecoils instead of the singlecoil / mini 'bucker.

If I were you I'd buy a Hallmark. Better guitar, Better price, Better value... Keep in mind the Fillmores are (Supposedly) Made out of Basswood like the originals so they're easy to damage.

So really all your paying for in the case of a fillmore is the Mosrite logo on the headstock?

I don't think so. The lineage of the Fillmore goes back to Semie. Plus, the neck on a Hallmark is wider than on a Fillmore Mosrite. If you want a guitar that is closer to the real McCoy, get the Fillmore. If you'd like a little wider neck & you dont care if the head stock has a M or an H on it, then get the Hallmark b/c, as far as sound goes, they are both really awesome.
In order of purchase:
1) Mosrite Ranger
2) V88
3) Stereo 350
4) Hallmark II in Johnny Blue
5) Danelectro '66
6) Celebrity III
7) Hallmark Gospel
8) Serenade
9) Eastwood 300
