I'm primarily a drummer because lets' face it, everyone needs a drummer, but guitar was my first instrument and has always been my first love. I don't have a Mosrite, but I've been infatuated with them ever since I was a kid and my dad would listen to The Ventures on the home stereo on saturday afternoons. I'd stare at the album covers and was visually drawn in to the backwards looking guitars they played. Fast forward a few years and I found punk rock. Lo and behold, the guitarist of my favorite band, Johnny Ramone, played one of those very same backwards guitars. I discovered the MC5. Holy crap, more backwards guitars! Lol. Anyway, I came to learn that those backwards guitars are Mosrites, and I've liked them ever since. Having only gotten to play a few real Mosrites sporadically in all these years, I never really put too much thought into owning one considering their availability, price, and frankly, they just don't play that great to me. But I've since gotten a Hallmark 60 Custom and I'm very happy with it.

Hello from Texas....
Hey, I'm Greg. I like short walks on the beach and curling up by the refrigerator with a good TV show.

Nice to have ya here, Greg. I'm of the same mind about the Mosrite's - the narrow neck is not the easiest to play though there are a number of folks who love it. The Hallmarks with the wider neck is a nice way to go. -Marty
