I have been waiting for this to be claimed for months but had no luck. Serial number is 2DLB0013
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It was left behind at work. I waited for it to be claimed but that was months ago.
Trying to figure out if it is a copy or not. Serial number doesn't match what I have seen and there is no identifying marks inside the bass.

Looks authentic to me. The knobs appear original. They are quite expensive so that would give me a hint. Just kidding about the it's mine. Who at your work plays guitar ?
The question that I want to know is how did you get your Photobucket photos to post here ?

Wosn,
It apppears to be a Celebrity Mark X bass.
Do you have pictures of the headstock front and rear?

Dan,
I used the link/imbed from photobuckets site to post pictures.
I work in the storage business and find random stuff all the time. I think this case, I found this bass and in the hallway. I waited for it to be claimed for months but no one came forward.

Come again? Sorry. I know nothing about these instruments. My specialty is model trains. I would be happy to post more pictures, though. I just thought it was weird that there is not serial number inside the bass itself.

Yes, there normally would be a sticker inside the body with the same serial number as on the neck.
What I was trying to see is where the strings wrap around and the four tuning keys are.
Pretty interesting find, are you thinking about selling it?

When you say model trains, what exactly do you specialize in. I have a collection of Old Marx, that I have restored. I do the motors also. The loco on the far right is a custom Daylight Special I made.

Yes since I have no use for it. Here are the pics:
