Re: THE FEDERAL RESERVE AND THE KUSTOM ARMY
To me Mosrite and Kustom are kindred spirits...independent, cutting edge, and sorely overlooked[
this is the amp I'm lusting after, 250 piggyback built in reverb, trem, fuzz, and wah? 4 12 with those cool chrome ports. Congrats Gattonfan put up some pics of the amp
I have been looking for a Kustom guitar for a while now. As we know I love the Custom so a semi acoustic bolt on with trem is right up my alley. The guitars.. made in Kansas? The Kustom web site is great Mel.

Re: THE FEDERAL RESERVE AND THE KUSTOM ARMY
The guitars were not made in the Kustom factory in Chanute, Kansas. There is some speculation that they were made by the same company that made some of the Wurlitzer guitars in the 60's. I think they were located in Kansas City.
Maybe this June when Bud Ross meets with the Kustom guys he can clear up this question. And maybe he has figures as to how many were made and of what models, etc.

Re: THE FEDERAL RESERVE AND THE KUSTOM ARMY
Just wanted to post a few pix of my recent acquisition ....
As it arrived - a little dirty, casters damaged

Jensen 15"

Blue sparkle not in bad shape at all

And, My "blues" together ... Not a bad sounding amp for the price!

Re: THE FEDERAL RESERVE AND THE KUSTOM ARMY
Thanks, guys. Haven't explored the qualities totally, but it has a super crisp sound on the bright side, and a super bass boost when plugging into the "Low" jack - impressive little amp, loud for its size. - kind of a get-down-and dirty back to basics sound. Next gotta explore either a reverb pedal, or outboard tank - or maybe just hook up the Chandler echo for a little 'sparkle".

Dennis,
Now if you decide you want to dye the left side of
the Kustom Red to match the guitar,....
