Brit musicians and Mosrites?

Postby Haole Jim » Sun Aug 02, 2009 7:55 am

Mosrite during the "British Invasion" was fairly alive and well...

...which Brit guitarists or bassists of the mid-late 60s / early 70s were ever seen with a Mosrite?

Paul, Mr. Entwistle was KNOWN for never having a Stock Bass. He was ALWAYS modifying them in one form or another.
Well, he didn't hold back on this Mosrite Sunburst Bass either in this Video....and YES, it is the same exact Bass loaded
up with Rickenbacker P'ups and REFINNED in White  .....BTW, this VID was posted on another thread here on the Forum.
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

I didn't know that Dennis! Interesting story. At the moment I can't think of any other Brits playing a Mo' though...

That video is hilarious. Some of the worst lip syncing and instrument faking I've ever seen. Big drum roll and Moon's tapping the cymbal.

There is also a pic of the Who in "Guitars From Neptune" a book about Danelectros! Entwhistle is shown playing a Mosrite!
