Huh?

From the pictures, it looks like the 'T' knob and the 'V' knob are reversed.

I've just come back from a real rehearsal tonight and again I must say how cool this guitar is. Full bodied tone with great twang. The JM is also way easier to control regarding feedback than the Combo I used to have. Are you guys sure that the depth of these guitars are the same? The JM feels thinner....

The bridge pup is loose/floating and I need to tighten it as I keep hitting it making the low-E screw touch the string. A nasty uncool sound when that happens. Danny, didn't you write a basic Mosrite pup set-up guide somewhere last year? I'd like to take it from the top and make sure I'll get the most out of these hot pups.

Oki folks. I opened up the JM and would like to hear your comments on what you see. There's NO stamp/date at the bottom of the neck?? Is this how this JM necks where made?

Please advice.

Love the photo looking from the neck across the guitar body.

On first glance, the nut jumps out at me. Looks like it rolls off toward the bridge and not the tuners. Don't know too much about the construction specific to early JMs, myself.

Yeah, I really need to replace that ugly nut although it works fine. The zero fret does all the work ;-).

And it's very hot here in Copenhagen today so please ignore my post about no stamp on the neck. That does, of course, mean I have to remove it from the body to see the date...silly me.

For those interested. My bridge pup is in for repair. Have to make a new metal part as the adjustment bar under the pup is broken on one side. What's the deal with the 'brown stuff' on both sides? Shielding material? Took the opportunity and got the pups measured. The both come out at 10.1k. Pretty hot.

I feel your pain. I encountered this recently, too.

But don't despair. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to resurrect this p'up with some help.

The luthier insists on making a new one himself ;-)
