While Semie Moseley was living in Northern California in the late 70s he approached my dad (who had a cabinet shop) about a business venture. He wanted them to build some 600 guitar bodies. According to my dad, he was honored at having the opportunity but Semie wanted him to front the costs. Semie was to pick up the order upon completion and they would recieve a check in the mail within 90 days. Being the business risk that it was, my dad respectfully declined the offer.
Since 1999 I've learned and helped in building various strat and tele style guitars and also assisted in setup and repair work. I took an electronics course after high school and I do a lot of custom work on guitar electronics and some amplifier repair. I also wind pickups. (Yes, Mosrite-style pickups too

I'm a very busy person and my time is limited so I don't know how much time I can contribute to this forum but I plan on popping in and reading and posting occasionally.
