I liked the sound that Ricky got out of his Mosrites but I have been concerned whether I'd like the necks or not. I realize the necks on MIJ Reissues are probably a little different but I'd imagine that they are still pretty close.

Well i guess it all about to what your use to...I mean i'm a "mustang" and "Jag-stang" player
So i'm use to smaller scaled neck...But i'll understand if a "Gibson" player or any "jumbo fretted" guitar player as a hard time to get use to this.
Thank
Frank :)

Good to hear, I do have a Gibson copy but I'm more used to Telecaster necks. When I first got my ES-335 copy it took a few days or a week to adjust to the neck, I suppose it could take about the same time to adjust to a Mosrite sized neck. But anyway, Back on topic. :)

Hello!
I would like to know if all your strings on your mark-I...line's up with the pups pole pieces?
Mine seems to...except for the high e string, wich is a little offset, and i can ear the diffrence when playing leads. Is there a way to fix that...of is just what you get from a mosrite of classics?
Thanks
Frank :)

My Ranger is the same way on my neck and bridge pickup.I don't know why this is,maybe there is a reason for it.
Any one know or have any ideas?

I don't know for sure about the Mosrite pick-up situation, but I was able to overcome a similar situation on a P-90 loaded Les Paul by raising the pole peice below the off-set string. Just a thought, but it really balanced the output considerably.

interesting, I have never noticed that issue before on older mosrites. I wonder maybe it's because the japanese version are made with a metric measuring system. hmmmmmmm?????? :?: :?: :?: :?:

I have a black Fillmore MkI that's about 2 years old. It's from the year they changed to a heavier guitar (about 8 lb. 12.5 oz.). Every string is close to being over the middle of the screw head. They line up slightly better with the bridge pickup than the neck pickup, but I think it's because of the angle of the neck pickup.
