Very nice Aaron! I'm glad you like her. Looks like a great guitar. I hope we get more reviews. :D

Hi, Aaron--my name is Jon Fine (I'm on here as jfine). I bought one of those new in 1974. Mine was brown sunburst (dark-brown-stained mahogany shading to black), but otherwise was like yours. I agree with you on the neck--very playable, and a lot more comfortable than the tiny '60's ones. The slide switch does indeed switch from mono to stereo, and in mono mode, either jack can be used--in stereo mode, each pickup has its own jack. I never ran it in stereo as I only had one amp. The main reason I got rid of it was that it was a little too dark-sounding for me. I should have kept it, as I've never seen another one--they're really scarce. When I got mine, the bass player I was playing with at the time, who already ownwd a single-pickup Ventures-model bass, bought a 350 bass, in natural mahogany like your guitar--so we were kind of the Mosrite Twins for a while! We both bought them from Dean Markley Music in Santa Clara, CA--yes, that Dean Markley, the string guy--he started out in retail. The week after I got mine, Dean got in another one, can't remember the model number, but instead of the two jacks and the mono-stereo switch, it had one mono output and two tone-control-bypass switches, one for each pickup. As I recall it was cherry-red, and I remember thinking that I should have waited and bought it instead. There was also a single-pickup version listed in the catalog (a Model 300) but I've never seen one.

A red 350 Guitar? I'd like to see that. I've only ever seen the natural and dark finished ones. Maybe some of the experts will chime in with some knowledge. ;)

pretty cool. The 350 is like a hybrid of my 2nd favorite guitar the les paul and my mark V2, so it suited me just fine. the shape of the body is a little goofy though, I think someone on youtube described it as a telecaster melting in the sun, lol. but when you play the guitar sitting down, it fits on a lap very easy, something that is probably overlooked about the design of this guitar.

I seen a 300 model but I cant remember where I saw it, most likely on the forum somewhere. it was a bass model though, would be interesting to know if semie made the 300 in a guitar version as well, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. even though semie had regular production runs of different models, seems like the far majority of semie made mosrites were custom made with the built in soul vibe.
Cheers,
Aaron

Wow, Nice pictures! Thanks for that, Adam! Were they a short run? That's the only red one I've seen.
