So your's is clearly earlier than the one shown at the top of the Mosrite Forum's page at the moment!TechWriter wrote:Just dug out the Mosrite I bought when I was a teenager -- MANY moons ago.
The serial # is 0200 & it looks exactly like the one at the top of the Mosrite Forum page.
And the serial number on your '63 side jack could very well denote that it is one of the last of the 200 (presumably) made in the first series of the Definitive "Ventures Model" design!!
I'm over-excited...geez, that makes TWO '63 Side jack finds ...in such a short period of time too...and on the Forum, thank goodness (and Danny)!
Any more to follow??...

I'm going to have another look in my attic right now...

Greetings and welcome to the forum! And congrats on that Mosrite - any chance I you'd let me play it when I'm in Green Bay visiting family next month?
I second that notion - I'd love to see MBP do some shows in the midwest!

Amazing, You have a Ventures model made in 1963
I don't know how many Ventures models were made in 1963 but 200 is the highest number I've ever heard of from that run.
