My Stomp Box

Postby wombat » Wed Jul 28, 2010 2:59 pm

A lot of guys that I know are reallyt into effect pedals. To many, the pedal is an essential part of their guitar. They can't think of playing without them.

During my last thirty- five years of guitar playing, I've only purchased two pedals. Only one of them am I currently using. That's the first one I bought. I guess it was a keeper!

I'd like to share with you my Cry Baby Stereo Fuzz Wah! :geek:

Very nice pedal you have there ... I just dug out my old Cry Baby (mid-70s) 2 nights ago ... Couldn't remember where I had stored it. Still in good shape, hardly used, all the rubber feet intact. Amazing what they're going for on eBay these days!

That's a mighty fine pedal you got there. From my experience with wah's I can say those Cry Baby's are built to last!

Yeah, way back in the day they made those. Personally, I like the sound of those more so than the newer Cry Baby's of today. It just has a more vintage, raw tone to me.

Speaking of "vintage raw", that little pedal switch mounted on the front is the fuzz pedal. Imagine Iron Butterflies "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida"!
