Today I did some neckwork, have a nice piece of maple that rings like a bell!

Now most of the wood is gone I let it sit for a couple of days. Then I'm sure al the stresses are gone, after that I can level and radius the fretboard.

So what do you think, neckplate or ferrules like Olav's guitar?
