Gatton, do you know Bob has up his sleeve for a 59 model? Just differen't colors or something else (I'd have to buy one if it was close or inspired by a 62-63 side jack)?

I don'y have any insight on the 59 Custom, except that it possibly may be a sidejack model ....

For you guys who have purchased Hallmark Guitars...Do they notify you, with a tracking number, when the guitar ships? Or, does it just show up?

darn!! Phil, that Finish looks as though it wants to jump right out at the camera!!

Thanks!

Yeah, that finish gets alot of compliments. Too bad he's not doing anymore sparkles. I'd love to get another in red or blue sparkle.

the finish looks great - also with matching sparkle headstock ;) - for me it is just like the limited editions of cij Fender offsets. You wish to have them in all colours available hahah :-).

Wow, My Hallmark 60 Custom just showed up. That's next day delivery via DHL. You can't beat that. I wasn't expecting to see it until Fri. I haven't even really looked at it yet. I'll get some pics up later. Batteries in my camera need recharged.

I'm not a photographer, but here are some pics of my 60 Custom. The guitar is more than I expected. Very well made. Sounds and plays incredible.

gplayer,

That is a beautiful guitar. Life don't get no better than that.

I haven't played a Hallmark from Bob Shade but I have used his parts in the construction of my project guitars and have to say they are top notch. Have a look here. Scroll down to the bottom for the finished project.
